NATIONAL STUDENT RODEO

Well NSR has been and gone, but of course the rodeo is never over! Keep checking back here for news and info on future events and news of the good causes the rodeo supported this year! I hear the circus is on its way and coming to a rodeo near you March 2013!

Please check out The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foudation and A Dam Relief when you get a chance. These are two amazing causes that really need your support!

For those of you who don’t know what the rodeo is, (where have you been??) it is the largest student kayaking event in the world* and boasts an attendance of around 1000 students from over 40 universities throughout the UK and Ireland. As announced at last year’s event, we are going to have a JUNGLE party. Get out all those tiger onesies, cat suits and Mowgli costumes, and descend on Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham on the 2nd - 4th March, for a weekend you won’t forget in a hurry.

With categories to cater for all abilities, and the best prizes going to the beginners, you have no excuse not to come along and get involved. Beginners get points for fancy dress, and original moves, so kayaking experience really is not necessary! But if you really do not feel up to it, you can just come along for the best party of the year.

*at least no-one has proved us wrong yet!
